Term 3 Kids Art Classes - Tuesdays 4-5.15pm - starting 16 July 2024

Join us for a creative fun-filled term!

We will start the term with building out of cardboard and recycled material which means building something fabulous using planning, design and imagination using a wide array of materials and learning sculpting techniques. We'll use kids safe tool, architecture skills and more for this!

This term we'll also use clay, explore the material, learn many different ways to manipulate and work with it. Children will then use their creativity to plan and transform their bloc of clay in a unique work of art.

At our art classes, children will use their own ideas to create something unique, be encouraged to make creative choices, explore and experience, they are challenged to experiment and problem-solve throughout the lesson.

This art class is offered in a 7 weeks block starting the second week of term Tuesday 16 July 2024 and finishing a week before the end of term 3 on Tuesday 27 August 2024 and each week, participants will explore various techniques using quality material whilst building on their creative confidence.

This term they will be using kid-safe tools to built cardboard 3D creations, including safely use a low temperature hot glue gun. They will also learn cardboard and paper sculpting techniques. They will manipulate clay, learn how to shape and assemble clay and paint it. And there might be more too...

Dates: Every Tuesday starting Tuesday 16 July 2024 until Tuesday 27 August 2024

Time: 4-5.15pm

This workshop is a drop off child class specifically designed for our primary school aged artists. If your child wants you around, that you want to join in, please let me know in advance so we can accommodate the best option for you and all children.

Projects:
We will work on various projects throughout the term including:
* 3D Build of their choice.
* Clay project
* And more....We always tailor to the class and children present so may also add other activities and other fun projects throughout the term. There is always plenty to explore each week and techniques to learn and/or practise to follow each child learning journey.

Price: 7 weeks block $175 + GST which includes all material and their completed projects to take home.

Note: Bring a water bottle. We provide aprons however we suggest children wear clothes that can get messy.
